De-Addict Centre
Through the Survey we found that more than 85% of men are alcoholic addict and 40% youth are immersed in this alcoholic disease. Due to the cry of women, we have started CIC De-Addict centre in this campus of St.Joseph’s rural Hospital – puliyal on 4-6-2015onwards.
- Fr.Jeyapathy the rector of Loyola college Chennai has sent his Jesuit De-Addict training team to conduct De-Addict programme in our place with the well co-operation and co-ordination of that training team members, we have selected 14 alcoholic addict diseased persons for treatment and counseling.
- This is the method of holistic approach of Detoxification, personal counseling, group counseling and family counseling.
- After the completion of the 21 days course of treatment our 14 alcoholic addict disease persons were turned into a normal genuine person and having continues contact with us.
- They are living with their family happily and peacefully. They are attending Alcoholic ananimas meeting (AA), Al Anan Meeting for wife and mothers and alatin meeting for their children to understand each other and to have peaceful and happy life. It will be continuing every alternative month.
