General Hospital Services

We have been treating all the incomingpatients with minimum charge without any discrimination.

1. We are providing 24 hours emergency service and routine outpatient care unit it functioning everyday from 8.00am to 1.00pm and 4.00pm to 8.00pm.
2. X-Ray, ECG and Laboratory is functioning 24 hours
3. We are doing minor, major operation services and also other special surgeries with the well experienced general surgeons and gynecologist
4. Every year we conduct free Eye camp and general camp (checkup and Treatment) for the welfare of rural and unreachable area people.
5. We are also conduct health awareness programme to the interior village people I n yearly twice.

Palliative Care Centre

Best Palliative Care Centre in Puliyal.

1. As the single family system are increased and joint family system are reduced. Old aged and chronic sickly parents are not able to care by their children, due to the raising the prices of the commodity, husband and wife (both) have to work to meet their family expenses.
2. Aged and sickly parents are not cared and unable to fulfill their needs, when they are in need
3. So we planned to start a palliative care centre with in the St,Joseph’s Hospital campus from the month of August -2015 onwards and functioning continuously with effective care and support.

De-Addict Centre

Through the Survey we found that more than 85% of men are alcoholic addict and 40% youth are immersed in this alcoholic disease. Due to the cry of women, we have started CIC De-Addict centre in this campus of St.Joseph’s rural Hospital – puliyal on 4-6-2015onwards.

1. Fr.Jeyapathy the rector of Loyola college Chennai has sent his Jesuit De-Addict training team to conduct De-Addict programme in our place with the well co-operation and co-ordination of that training team members, we have selected 14 alcoholic addict diseased persons for treatment and counseling.
2. This is the method of holistic approach of Detoxification, personal counseling, group counseling and family counseling.
3. After the completion of the 21 days course of treatment our 14 alcoholic addict disease persons were turned into a normal genuine person and having continues contact with us.
4. They are living with their family happily and peacefully. They are attending Alcoholic ananimas meeting (AA), Al Anan Meeting for wife and mothers and alatin meeting for their children to understand each other and to have peaceful and happy life. It will be continuing every alternative month.

Care & Support Centre for HIV/AIDS

Community care centre for the HIV/AIDS patients. Established in the year of 2008. We have treated 1215 PLHA per year in the out patients department and 630 PLHA admitted and treated for the opportunity infections. We have four field workers, one lab technicians, and a counselor who interact with the PLHA and non PLHA conduct free blood test camp, awareness programme on communicable diseases and HIV/AIDS.

We are doing care and support service for the whole sivagangai district for the infected and affected parents and children as follows:

1. We have registered 2650 HIV infected clients.
2. According to our survey 254 affected and infected children are abundant and neglected
3. We are serving for these people for 10 years from 2008 onwards.

Care and education centre for Abandon Children

1. We have 50 HIV affected and 120 non affected children whose parents were died with HIV/AIDS and left abandon. After thedeath of their affected parents, the poor and innocent children are left abandon and roaming on the streets.
2. After through study,we have collected all the left over and abandoned children and providing food, accommodation, education, medical care, counseling and skill training to the children according to their ability.
